Both have red brown on light green undertint. Face has ocean oil well drilling platform with ornate designs and back has light multi-colored cycloid security undertint only. CU to Gem Uncirculated condition. These DuraNote Specimen/Proofs were part of an experimental test for using a petroleum alternative to paper by using petroleum based polymer substrate material. This was a project by Mobil Oil Company that was abandoned when the company was acquired in the late 1990s by Exxon.
