Lot of 5 I/C Stock Certificates, The group is highlighted by a 36,000 share Merrill Lynch certificate, I/C in 1971 and sold 1 year later, with an additional restrictive clause on the left that states the shares can only be sold upon the approval of the of Merrill’s Counsel. Merrill Lynch, P,F, & S went public on June 15th, 1971. These shares were probably purchased or given to insiders at a discounted price and were restricted on how quickly they could sell their shares. The IPO price for this Merrill was $28 per share. That makes this certificate at the time worth at least 1 million dollars.
