Lot of 13 Issued corporate and financial documents representing a cross-section of American banking, manufacturing, utilities, transportation, and industrial development, Includes: Cedar Falls Manufacturing Company stock certificates (2); National Bank of Wilmington stock certificates (2); Bank of America stock certificate; Birmingham Coal, Iron & Southern Gas Company stock certificate; Broad Top Improvement Company stock certificate; Macon, Dublin & Savannah Railroad Company bond; United States Box Machine Company stock certificates (2); and additional industrial and financial material, including an illustrated industrial bond and a period promotional map relating to Florida development. Several examples show manuscript entries, endorsements, revenue stamps, cancellations, and other period annotations. The group includes multiple Volunteer Soldiers’ Family Aid Fund certificates issued by the City of New York; a Philadelphia municipal loan certificate; a group of United States Internal Revenue $5 stamp tax documents; bank stock certificates from institutions such as Third National Bank of Sedalia, First National Bank of Pomona, Bogata National Bank (Texas), and Citizens Bank; a Canal Department, State of New York loan document; and a Wyoming Land and Trust Company stock certificate, among others.
