Issued group comprising: 1896 The Des-Moines Gold Mining Company, 1000 shares, grey-black with mountain vignette at top, large gilt seal at left, “Mines in the Cripple Creek Mining District” noted on face; 1897 The Kangaroo Gold Mining and Milling Company, 5000 shares, broad gilt border with central underground-mining vignette and allegorical devices, embossed gold seal; 1896 The Avondale Gold Mining Co., 5000 shares, gilt and black with panoramic camp view at center flanked by mining scenes, large embossed gold seal; 1897 The Aztec Gold Mining Company, 5000 shares, gilt border with miners- at-work vignette at top and embossed gold seal.
