Highlights include two large-format Certificates of Recognized Membership with engraved siderography lathe vignette; a decorative retirement certificate with allegorical vignette; a smaller engraved membership card with ABN-style frame; application forms for apprentice and recognized membership on yellow and blue stock; obligation sheets for apprentice and recognized members on pink and blue paper; and an additional transfer slip from the International Steel Plate Transferrers’ Association. Several sheets feature elaborate engravings of siderography lathes and allegorical figures, underscoring the strong ties between engraving craft and union identity. A historically significant grouping documenting membership practices of the Siderographers’ union. Mainly Choice AU to Choice Uncirculated, all are rare.
