Lot of 2 Thomas Alva Edison Commemorative Silver Dollars (2) featuring Edison holding an experimental light bulb in lab on obverse, while reverse shows rays of light radiating from an 1879 light bulb. One coin is a proof, and the other is Uncirculated, both are 90% Silver, come in original packaging from the U.S. Mint, and have certificate of authenticity. Coins are in Superb proof or uncirculated condition with a total of 53.46 grams of .999 silver with a silver melt of over $60. (2). Tax Warrant for 27 Shillings (1 Pound 7 Shillings) Issued to ‘Windham Selectmen’, Black print with black handwriting and signatures, Signed by early Connecticut figures Fenn Wadsworth and William Moseley. Fenn Wadsworth (1750/51-1785) was a brigade major to General James Wadsworth from 1776 to 1779. William Moseley (1755-1824) later would serve in the Connecticut state senate. He was also the Director of the Hartford National Bank from 1797 to 1815. VF condition. � Est. $60-90
