Lot includes of over 100, I/C Checks and Drafts, all are from Merchants National Bank, located in Burlington, Vermont. A majority are intaglio printed drafts by the American Bank Note Company that have black text with a large spread winged eagle depicted at top center, the balance of the checks have black text with green background. VF to AU condition, most dating from 1918. Over 100 checks. Merchants Bank was organized in 1849 and took a national charter in 1865 becoming The Merchants National Bank of Burlington, Vermont.
