The federal government frowned upon using clearing house associations for the 1933 Depression scrip issues. Though there is no date, we are confident this fits the earlier 1907 style and format and not the later 1933 Depression Scrip designs. Wooden money was a circulating medium in Tenino, Washington, as a part of the plan of its Chamber of Commerce to thaw the frozen assets held in an insolvent bank. VF condition.
