The Standard Oil Company was organized in 1870, with Henry Morrison Flagler ( January 2, 1830 - May 20, 1913) and Jabez Abel Bostwick (September 23, 1830 - August 16, 1892) serving as founding members, alongside J.D. Standard Oil Co. was an American oil-producing, transporting, refining, and marketing company.
