1953) Specimen Stock.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. ND (ca. 1953),
Specimen stock certificate. Red “Specimen “ overprints, POC’s. No

stock certificate from the Milwaukee “Braves “ baseball team era.
The “Braves “ moved from Boston, MA in 1953 to become the
Milwaukee Braves while the “Brewers “ were the Braves local farm
team. In 1966 the Braves moved to Atlanta. Bud Selig was owner of
the Milwaukee Brewers after the Braves left Milwaukee and found-
ed the new Milwaukee team after buying the bankrupt Seattle fran-
chise in 1970. Choice uncirculated. This could be considered either
an Atlanta Braves predecessor certificate or Milwaukee Brewers
predecessor certificate. Let’s see who hits a home run and wins it, a
Braves or a Brewers fan. ...............................................
