Introduction to the Sale Foreword On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you to our 49th auction. We are excited to offer over 1060 lots of rare and desirable U.S. & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, Security Printing Ephemera and Coins in this auction. Included in the sale are consignments from numerous estates and longtime collections with many items having never been offered previously at auction. We have received consignments from El Salvador to Mongolia and everywhere in between. There will be many surprises and hidden gems in the auction that are sure to attract attention from the young beginner to advanced dealer including many rarities that seldom seem at auction. We are happy to offer the Hammurabi Collection of Serial #13 Specimen TDLR Notes put together by a serious collector that include many rare and sought-after banknotes. We also have an outstanding assortment of worldwide banknotes highlighted by two early Persia rarities among others. A desirable selection of autographs are highlighted by a pair of signed Walt Disney and W.C. Fields checks. U.S. Obsolete banknotes have numerous highlights including a high-grade Kirtland Safety Society Bank Mormon note as well as an uncut full color sheet of Connecticut, Iron Bank obsolete notes. We are offering over 300 lots of scripophily including railroads, mining, banking, bonds and shares. The auction ends with our 2nd offering of the American Bank Note Commemoratives inventory. We are now working on our 50th auction that is scheduled for late October to early November 2018. We are seeking consignments for this and other upcoming sales.
