This letter was sent to Bermuda (where Twain spent considerable time) to make reservations and preparations for a trip. He mentions in letter “....the use of tug to take Mr. Clemens to the ship and I hand you herewith Mark Twain company Check.....His canvas chair will be sent to him.....This is the set of books which I understood fromMr. Clemens he wished sent to Mr. Allen”.
