Book.

China, Lot of 3 notes, Includes 1917, Provincial Bank of

Manchuria, 1 Yuan, P-S2897 S/M#T214-50, Issued, Orange, Back green

and black, Temple of Heaven in middle, S/N 0965844, Fine condition;

also included are 2 different denominations of the 1924, Provincial Bank

of Three Eastern Provinces, $1 and $5, P-SS2951a and 2952a, both in VF.

Includes the original page from his book picturing all of the notes in this

lot. All 3 of these notes are the Plate notes from Pogrebetsky’s personal

reference collection and are the photographed plate notes from his rare

Chinese banknote book published in Harbin in 1929. A unique and

Great Wall, S/N 0346347, VF with tape remnant on top left and right

face; and 2 different Private Local Issue Banknotes Including and Tsinan,

China, ND (ca.1915-20’s), Kong Yuan Hang Bank, 10 cents, P-Unlisted,

Orange with temple on right and building on left, back with building,

S/N 17114, Choice Fine with stamp hinge remnant on middle face; and,

Tsinanfu, China, ND (ca. 1915-30’s), 20 cents, P-UNL, issued, green on

light orange, train on right, ship on left, back red, S/N 003731, Includes

the original page from his book picturing all of the notes in this lot. All 3

of these notes are the Plate notes from Pogrebetsky’s personal reference

collection and are the photographed plate notes from his rare Chinese

20 cents, P-S3870a, XF with pin holes; Bank of China, 1925 Shanghai

issue, 10 cents, P-53, Serial # 963416 and 1927 Industrial Development

Bank of China, 10 cents, P-497a, Issued, appears Choice VF to XF but

there are pencil graffiti on the margins and a stamp hinge on the face

that can easily be removed. Rare note in any condition. Includes the

original page from his book picturing all of the notes in this lot. All 3
