French, Black on pink and m/c with UNESCO logo in middle, can-
celled in purple, Uncirculated, These scrip notes or currency notes
were given to suppliers for goods as vouchers that could be turned
in for their face value. These were issued to assure the money was
used for the purposes intended and did not walk out the door for
another reason. This note was issued during the Viet Nam war era.
Rare, since most were redeemed for the face value and seldom if
ever offered in auction. Printed in Finland. ..................
