3rd of exchange, payable in London, $1, 1st issue Power of Attorney

revenue stamp on left with New Orleans hand stamp cancellation,

Large dramatic eagle on top, Choice VF, ABNC. Scarce and very at-

Lot of 2 Ex-

change Drafts, both date lined New Orleans, Louisiana. Includes

Edm. J. Forstall, 1866, $19,949.24, “First Check”, Punch Cancelled,

with ink burn and a few small holes, still very attractive check,

ABNC; and August 16, 1862, Canal & Banking Co., Nautical View

of Poseidon with trident; issued for £100.00, NewOrleans was cap-

tured from the confederates the beginning of May 1862, this ex-

change was issued barely 2 months after its capture by the Union

Army, Choice Fine with some staining, RWH&E, New Orleans.

Scarce and attractive pair of exchanges.����������������������������Est.
