banknote, Black on light brown paper, portrait of Kossuth in middle
and allegorical Liberty Women flanking portrait, Hand signed by
Kossuth as well as hand written date, S/N 48, Choice VF condition
with light foxing on the right, rare note in any condition.

Letter by Kossuth recommending an artist that Kossuth knew to an
attorney in London. He also sent sample of his artwork. Written and
signed in Kossuth hand. VF with very light foxing. Includes $1, pp B,
with printed date and hand signed serial number, XF to AU; $5, pp
B, Hand signed date and serial number, Fine with split on left mar-
gin and on top at folds. Scarce autographed letter. ....
