53 Festival Shakespeare: Restoration of the Connecticut
Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, among the earliest of the
American offerings.
After being dark for many years, a new group
is restoring the magnificent theater, and has had introductory per-
formances in summer outside, with a view over the Sound, simply
beautiful. This effort needs your help! Place your bid for a mounted
photograph of Eva LeGallienne and Tom Tarpey in “All’s Well That
Ends Well 30x40” for your den, and bring the festival back to full life.
Also a Tee shirt and a square foot of the new carpet and some pro-
gram material from the 2011 season .............................

an instructive for the history of photography. All of the images are
