Artwork And Autographed Letter.

Autographed letter dated 1956 discussing World Series and a 10 x 7
inch ink and watercolor drawing of a hippopotamus holding a bas-
ket of fruit with a ribbon around him that was on the interior of a
mailed holiday card. Signed “The Leo Hirschfield’s “ in his hand. XF

Signed Mary Pickford
Sepia Photograph by Hartsook Photo. VF condition. Pickford (1892-
1979) born Gladys Marie Smith in Toronto Canada, she was a co-
founder of United Artists and one of 36 of the original founding
members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Known as “America’s Sweetheart “ she appeared in 51 films in 1909
with Biograph Co. She would go on to star in 52 features. With the
advent of talkies and the difficulty finding parts she would retire
from the industry in 1933. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage in

Frohman signed letter. Fine condition ALS. Frohman (1851-1940)
was an early motion picture producer and theatrical producer and
manager. 3). Anna Jameson signed letter. VF condition ALS.
Jameson (1794-1860) was a British writer. 4). Henny Youngman,
Comedian, signed New York Friars Club Card, VF condition.

Katherine Hepburn signed letter on personal
letterhead “Katharine Haughton Hepburn “ in red print dated 1-15-
1987, VF-XF condition LS. An American actress who won an
Academy Award for her third role, Morning Glory (1933). She fol-
lowed that by a series of commercial failures in which the entertain-
ment industry then labeled her “box office poison “. She was able to
resurrect her career and went on to win an additional three Oscars
for her work in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967), The Lion in
Winter (1968), and On Golden Pond (1981). She passed away in 2003
at the age of 96. ...........................................................

1913, Autograph on 77 Rue de Varenne letterhead with signature at
bottom, Black and white photograph portrait of Rodin. Ensemble is
matted and framed. Rodin (1840-1917) was a famous French sculp-
tor known for his works “The Thinker “ (1902), “The Gates of Hell “,
“The Kiss “ (1889) among others. By 1900 Rodin was a world
renowned artist who had many wealthy private clients and a circle
of friends that included high profile intellectuals, writers and other
