Denomination Banknote. Montevideo, Uruguay, July 1st, 1865,
50 Pesos, P9S278r given by PMG to this note that was not previous9
ly listed in the SCWPM, the 20 and 100 Pesos were listed but the 50
Pesos was left out. Portrait of V. Maua on top middle, black on
brown and light green underprint, S/N 019850, PMG graded Good 4
NET due to pieces missing from the bottom and lower right, coun9
terfoil attached to left, still very attractive and this is very possibly

Essay”, No under tint and back is blank. Purple, portrait of Bolivar on
left and Sucre on right. Printed on banknote paper with security
threads and security strip. PMG graded “66 GemUncirculated 9 EPQ
(Exceptional Paper Quality)”, rare Venezuela production proof item

Black on green and yellow underprint, cherub on lower right and
allegorical “Liberty” facing forward on left, back green with arms of
bank in center, Red Specimen overprints, POC’s and “00000” serial
numbers, PMG graded Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ, Unpriced in
SCWPM. Extremely rare note that is rarely seen in any form and has
rarely come to auction, this note will be hard to improve upon.

and this note is black on green, red and m/c, Allegorical woman
holding ship on right, man on left and Arms in middle. Black on
green and m/c under tint and back is brown. Unc. to CU condition.
