underprint and left side panel, Arms of UK of unicorn and lion flank-
ing crown and shield on top with Accompanying artwork of the
same vignette but much larger in paint, pen and ink on top of pho-
tograph or pen and ink drawing that was touched up, I cannot tell
which. The certificate has text The Lord Commissioners of Her
Majesty’s Treasury on behalf of the Government of the United
Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (H.M.G.), it also has
a facsimile signature of the Secretary to Her Majesty’s Treasury on
the lower right. Pin punch Specimen in signature blocks.
Uncirculated condition. This should be considered an official U.K.
Government Bond, similar to a U.S. Treasurer’s bond (I would give
$1000+ for a U.S. Government example). Rare with original artwork
