York, Uncut vertical strip of 6 Dura Note Polymer sample notes, Red

oil platform on light green-blue ornate underprint, no printing on

back, printed on DuraNote polymer substrate, Choice AU to Gem Unc.

541 DuraNote Predecessor Polymer Banknote Advertising Note Specimens.

ND, ca.1980-90’s, Lot of 5 different polymer sample notes

with different security elements added. All are 100 Denomination

notes with oil platform on front and back with oil wagon being pulled

by horses, Includes security elements with colorful and ornate designs

featuring maple leaf ’s as windows or opaque, all with variations of the

translucent silver and gold security windows on the counterfoil margins.

The notes were part of a project from Mobil Oil for testing petroleum

based hydrocarbon polymer paper for printing banknotes. All are in

Choice to Gem Uncirculated condition. Scarce and attractive.����Est.

1979, 500 Gourdes, P-238 Unlisted Uniface Front Proof undertint.

Green, red and orange undertint without vignette, title, text or border.

Back Blank, Tyvek banknote proof. Printed on Tyvek paper. Choice

to Gem Uncirculated Condition. Extremely rare and attractive Tyvek

543 American Bank Note Company, 1929, Specimen Bank Note Trio

ABNC, a matching set of a test banknote and corresponding uniface

proofs, one for the front and one for the back. The note has a face value of

“10 Denomination”, vignette of allegorical figure facing left, no number

or signatures. The obverse progress proof shows a colorful underprint,

an eagle, and an American flag. The reverse proof is mounted on card

stock and shows the denomination in text and numbers. Unusual. AU-
