On behalf of the entire Archives International Auctions team, I would like to personally welcome you

to our 35th auction we have held over the last nine years. We are privileged to offer another large

and varied selection of Chinese & Worldwide Banknotes, Scripophily, Coins and Security Printing

Ephemera including hundreds of rare and exciting banknotes and numismatic items that seldom if ever

come up for auction. There will be items of interest for every level of collector, specialist or dealer.

Included in the auction are over 740 lots of Chinese and Worldwide Banknotes that will be offered in

two sessions on Monday, September 26th, 2016. The auction will include over 180 lots of rare and

desirable Chinese banknotes with many rarities included that are rarely offered at auction. We are

also offering a wide range of banknotes from numerous countries that should attract the serious

collector looking for those hard to find varieties that rarely if ever show up at auction or are

overlooked by most other auction firms.

We are privileged to offer a number of collections that are fresh to the collecting community that have

been off the market for over 30 to 50 years. We will also offer additional selections from the

Silicon Valley Collection as well as the Hamtramck Collection, both having been put together between

the 1950’s to 1980’s by passionate collectors and never having been offered previously at auction.

We are in the process of completing our October and December 2016 auctions of U.S. & Worldwide

Banknotes, Scripophily, Coins, and Security Printing Ephemera including additional selections from the

Silicon Valley Collection of worldwide banknotes. We are the exclusive auctioneer for the Wall Street

Coin, Currency & Scripophily Bourse to be held at the Museum of American Finance in NYC on

October 21st to 23rd with the first auction session to be held at the MOAF on Saturday, October 22nd

and the second auction session to be held at our offices in Fort Lee on Tuesday, October 25th.

We are still seeking consignments for our upcoming 2016-17 auctions including our October and

December dates. I would like to thank everyone who has participated in our previous sales and has

helped make this auction series a resounding success. We are looking forward to another

exciting auction and hope you enjoy our current offerings.

Best of luck,

Bob Schwartz
